Firewall/lokkit

If you're looking for where the firewalling stuff is written it is /etc/sysconfig/ipchains by a /usr/sbin/lokkit. Note that the medium and high levels turn off NFS access.

fstab Format Changes

The /etc/fstab LABEL stuff can be deciphered by using e2label. See man e2label

Applix 5.0

If you can't install Applixware Applix 5.0, follow the instructions at http://www.smartbeak.com/applixware/intelprodupd50.html

Note that you'll have to delete any applix RPMS which have already been installed. (Looking in my history applix-bin-spell-base-5.00-1315 was hanging around)

Informix 9.2UC1

oninit segmentation faults. I believe it is a glibc 2.2.2 problem. There is a thread in comp.database.informix on this.

I posted this bug to RedHat as Bug 39803. The resolution is that this should be fixed in glibc-2.2.3-10. I have not tried this.

I have been informed that 9.21UC1 works.
